Membership & Aircraft Hire
Membership
Use of any of the Club’s services requires individuals to hold and maintain an annual membership with the Club. Full payment for the year is required on joining. Day visitors do not require a membership (see Visit Us for more information) and those engaged in trial lessons will be able to obtain a temporary membership, the price of which is included in the trial lesson fee. Prices can be found below.
Aircraft Hire
The club operates a 1981 Cessna 152, G-BILS which is available for hire by qualified pilots. G-BILS is currently undergoing refurbishment. In order to satisfy Club requirements and insurance, new pilots or new members may be required to have a check ride with one of the club instructors. The aircraft is bookable via our online flight booking portal. You can book the aircraft or lessons at: https://www.getcavok.com. Students take priority for aircraft booking. Simulators
The club operates two Microsoft based flight simulators with realistic controls and instrument navigation simulators and these can be used when the weather is unsuitable or to experience flight prior to getting into an aircraft.
Pilot Gear
The club also sells Pooleys flight goods and maintains a stock of oft used items at the club. Prices are those listed at: https://www.pooleys.com
